Hey there, fellow adventurers! My name is Radka, the heart and soul behind GlobeGal Journeys.

If you’re here, you’re probably just as obsessed with traveling as I am. So, welcome to my little corner of the internet, where we celebrate the joys (and occasional mishaps) of solo female travel.

A Little About Me

I’m a Prague girl who fell in love with travel and never looked back. After a dreamy year in Switzerland (yes, I lived on cheese and chocolate), I packed up my life and moved to LA with my golden retriever, Steven. Over the past 20 years, I’ve racked up 53 passport stamps, most from solo trips. I’ve gotten lost at 2am with no map, negotiated with border patrol in broken languages, and accidentally booked a “hotel” that turned out to be someone’s backyard shed. Now I use all that experience to help other women travel smarter, safer, and with fewer headaches.

Why Solo Female Travel?

Because why wait for someone else to make your dreams happen? Solo travel is about finding your own path, making your own decisions, and sometimes, discovering that you can navigate a foreign subway system without speaking the language (trust me, it’s possible!). Here at GlobeGal Journeys, I want to inspire you to take that leap, whether it’s a weekend getaway or a round-the-world adventure.
