MEET THE globegal
Hey there, fellow adventurers! My name is Radka, the heart and soul behind GlobeGal Journeys.
If you’re here, you’re probably just as obsessed with traveling as I am. So, welcome to my little corner of the internet, where we celebrate the joys (and occasional mishaps) of solo female travel.
A Little About Me
I was born in the fairy-tale city of Prague, where cobblestone streets and historic castles fed my imagination. After a magical year living in Switzerland (think cheese, chocolate, and mountains – what’s not to love?), I packed my bags and moved to sunny Los Angeles. My trusty golden retriever, Steven, was my loyal travel buddy. Together, we ticked off his “bucket list” – yes, he had one, and it involved lots of beaches and dog-friendly hikes! Though Steven is no longer with me, his adventurous spirit continues to inspire my travels.
Why Solo Female Travel?
Traveling solo as a woman is an empowering experience. It’s about finding your own path, making your own decisions, and sometimes, discovering that you can navigate a foreign subway system without speaking the language (trust me, it’s possible!). Here at GlobeGal Journeys, I want to inspire you to take that leap, whether it’s a weekend getaway or a round-the-world adventure.
Every journey holds a story. Together, let’s get lost in the adventure.
This is more than just words – it’s a call to embrace the unknown and celebrate the journey, not just the destination. I’m here to share my stories from the road, tips and tricks I’ve picked up along the way, and create a space where solo female travelers can connect and support each other.
